Mates, sorry for the long lay-off. Happy Chinese New Year to all, i know i've been very late with my wishes. But, better late than never right? So, whats Chinese New Year to Chinese who celebrates it? Its a time when families get together, have sumptuous meals, lotsa red packets (ang pows), gambling and yummy delicacies. I use to look forward to Chinese New year so much as a kid. Now, to me it is just another holiday. I mean, i still have my superstitions, like not sweeping the floor on the first day of CNY(sweeping wealth away).

This year, CNY was a little different though. Was in Melbourne for a short holiday with my family. Apart from the first 3 days of CNY, my New Year was spent in Melbourne. Collections of 'ang pow', needless to say, reduced significantly. Sigh....
